wirDesign new partner of Total Identity

The Dutch identity and positioning expert Total Identity and the German communication consultancy agency wirDesign decided on 10 September 2010 for a strengthening partnership. By this strategical partnership both will exchange know how, support each other by boundary transcending projects and their international market.

The second annual conference (in Antwerp, Belgium) showed evidence of a decentral growing and developing of new ideas and technologies that are all based on the same mindset and mentality.

The Total Identity Network is an international network of 8 European and Asian identity agencies. Based on its expertise in positioning, communication and design of corporate identities, the network will serve to define and shape the new demands of markets in respons to major economic and social developments.

Vision
The internationalization of the economy enters a new phase that manifests an increasing need for an alternative in providing corporate identy solutions, which builds upon European values and experience, rather than upon Anglo-American.

Mission
In establishing a unique, international franchised network of agencies that share the same vision with respect to positioning, communications strategy and corporate design, concrete, proactive steps will be taken to capitalise on this trend. Drawing from their combined products and services, the agencies serve common commercial and governmental markets in a characteristically manner.

Market approach
Developing a corporate identity and helping an organization to become aware of itself in its communications, symbols and behavior is a skill and an art. In particular, this requires a great deal of creativity, along with years of experience and the combined creative effort of such disciplines as communications, design and management.

Increasing globalization has made it necessary for us to view identity in a broader context. There are two reasons for this. First, companies often expand beyond their original national borders and utilize their identity on an international scope. Second, more and more companies are becoming aware of the importance of their corporate identity.

Against this backdrop, the Total Identity Network develops identities on a worldwide scale. Experience has taught us that working with local agencies enables us to better shape the identity process. Particularly when dealing with knowledge of the local market and culture and the further refinement of the identity created. A local agency whose goal is to develop the corporate identity of its clients offers a great deal of added value in this respect. And this is the kind of agency we wish to have as a partner.
